CANGGU, BALI, August 2026: In a landmark technology partnership that brings together botshift (botshift.co), the AI transformation agency taking artificial intelligence from the digital realm into the physical world, and FINNS Bali, operators of the world’s best beach club, comes a national first: the first deployment of humanoid robots in Indonesia, live and performing full-time at Finns Beach Club.

The resident robot squad headlines robot-versus-human dance-offs, takes the decks for sunset DJ sets, pausing for photos with guests in between. No visit to a lab, no ticket to a tech expo: the future of entertainment now lives at the beach club, every single day.

The deployment marks one of the world’s first commercial applications of physical AI in hospitality, and the very first of its kind in Indonesia. Where artificial intelligence has so far lived on screens, physical AI gives it a body: machines that perceive their surroundings, move through real spaces and interact with real people. Under the partnership, botshift supplies, trains and maintains the squad while integrating them with their business intelligence AI, while FINNS provides the world’s most iconic stage, turning that future into a nightly, in-person experience for more than a million guests a year.

“We’re thrilled to open a new digital age at Finns,” said Beau Whittington, Chief Executive Officer, FINNS Bali. “We’ve always believed the world’s best beach club should be where the future shows up first, and now it has, as a resident robot squad you can dance with, race against, and take home on camera. Nobody in Indonesia has ever done this. It’s world-class entertainment no one has seen before, and it’s happening on our deck every single day.”

“Physical AI is stepping out of the lab and onto the world stage, and there’s no better stage than Finns,” said Alex Ronalds, Co-Founder & CEO, botshift. “This partnership makes Indonesia one of the first countries on earth where you can walk in off the street and meet a humanoid robot with genuine character. Every guest who meets the squad becomes a storyteller. Together with Finns, we’re showing the world what live entertainment looks like in the age of physical AI.”

The robot squad is now in residence at Finns Beach Club, Canggu. For show times and bookings, visit finnsbeachclub.com.
